About Language Nannies®
  • Director/Founder of The Language Workshop for Children® François Thibaut

CNN called François Thibaut “… one of a very few experts in teaching languages to small children.”

After teaching French to high school students in France and at a college in New York City in the early 1970’s, François Thibaut began working with children.  He was so impressed with the ease with which youngsters learn language that he soon switched his specialty to young learners and began developing a technique to blend a child’s unique emotions, perceptions and development with recognized methods to teach language.  Since then, François Thibaut and his Language Workshop for Children have maintained their position as pioneering leaders of early language acquisition. Thibaut is the author of numerous articles on the subject of children’s language acquisition, and the developer of The Thibaut Technique®.

  • Before we reach for a DVD, Logan quickly puts in his request, “Toto, Toto!” From the moment the first notes of the opening song he is hooked. Very often he is too excited to sit down….. Even after viewing the DVD’s many times, he still waits in anticipation for each segment.

Both have been students since the age of 2 at The Language Workshop for Children.”
